Let's just get started!

Ok, first of all, I feel like expressing myself in English this time and that's why this will be written in this language and not Spanish as per usual (even though I have written in English before already, but I just wanted to clarify it).

It's time for change, for letting new habits arrive, bringing back abandoned habits and turning into a better person in many different ways.

That being said, I want to write down in here some random ideas, like just because. Out of the blue. May not have anything to do with the last paragraph but I just need to express them somewhere.

I realised, recently, that I just LOVE the futuristic theme. Like, no, wait, I've known this for a long while, actually. Probably ever since I decided that Upside Down by Director Juan Diego Solanas was my very favourite film (followed by Disney's classic 1951 animated version of Alice in Wonderland). And we're talking about many years ago, that I made that choice. So, I am definitely aware of my preference for science fiction. Now, the thing is, that lately I've thought about it a lot more, for sure. And I have found myself enjoying electronic beats and discovering new electronic music artists for long periods of time. I just feel like traveling to the future to be in a dystopian future, where the streets are dark in some parts of the city but there are also all type of futuristics things we get to see in those movies... Such as flying cars (to start with something basic), people dressed up with that style, if you get what I mean. We could think about Futurama, maybe, to just set a very famous example. But I'm also thinking about some music videos that a friend showed me the other day. It's kind of hard for me to explain the story behind the videos, so I'll simply share one of them here. We didn't watch just one, but that was the first of them and it got me astonished.

There is something about those scenarios that have always caught my attention since... ever. I don't know if this is the case for most people, because I also believe that many people could find it scary, or even unsettling, "paranoia-triggering"? Because of fearing that our world could actually become like that one day. I, myself, don't know whether I fear that or if I want that to happen already. It's like, part of me clearly wouldn't want it because, of course I love nature (or am I not studying to become a biologist, then a doctor in Zoology and work in the outdoors?). But I really can't deny that I'm totally curious about how it'd be like if that dystopian future was our present.

Well, now, back to that paragraph about changes, habits, and that (because no, I wasn't going to just leave it there completely forgotten). I have 8 days to study for a final and to be honest, today is when I'll actually start studying. Anything done before was just a vague attempt that doesn't really count for me. So, I need to organise myself, start planning, scheduling, everything that is needed in order to have everything studied by the 13th of this month. Otherwise, I just won't make it and then I'll feel so disappointed in myself. We don't want that. I might begin to use an app/program called Notion, that I've been hearing of for months on internet and appears pretty complex to understand at first sight, but the goal is to get the hang of it since it seems to be so useful.

More updates incoming.

Oh, and before I leave, I want to share this song as an example of those electronic beats  I mentioned before.
